We are seeking caregivers who are warm and compassionate people and who love working with the elderly. You must be caring and patient.

The hours are flexible and part-time. We will do our best to get you as many hours a week as you’d like, whether it be with one client or more.

You do not need to be experienced or licensed. We supply training.

You do need to have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and an insured reliable car.

We cannot hire you if you have a criminal record, a recent history of drug or alcohol abuse, or if you carry a communicable disease such as tuberculosis.

Prior to hiring caregivers we run background checks.

Our hourly rates start at $9.00 an hour and $9.50 an hour for C.N.A./N.A.C and N.A.R.’s.

        Job Description

Objective:  To provide professional care giving services and enable the client to remain independent in his or her own home.

• Assist with walking and light exercise
  
• Plan and prepare meals followed by clean up
  
• Make beds
  
• Light housekeeping to include light dusting and light vacuuming
  
• Laundry
  
• Supervise household maintenance such as housecleaning service, plumber or gardener
  
• Run errands
  
• Provide incidental transportation using client or caregiver car
  
• In Overnight Assignments:
       Assist client to and from bed
       Assist client throughout the night
       Prepare morning meal and cleanup
      

Other Requirements:

• Document activities in the Care Plan Book daily
  
• Record hours worked on the Client Time Sheet and submit a signed time sheet weekly
  
• Report any significant client changes to the office immediately

Qualifications:

•  Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
• Ability to read and write English at an average adult level
• Ability to speak English clearly, both in person and on the phone
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
